Transfer an installed game over your local network with Typhon
LAN sharing is designed to send an installed game to another computer on the same network without downloading its game files from the internet again.

In version 0.5.1 this feature is experimental: the interface states that single-computer operation has been tested, but transfer between two real computers has not. The steps below follow that version’s interface.
Prepare both computers
Install the current Typhon on both computers and connect them to the same trusted local network. The sender needs an installed game; the receiver needs enough space for its files.
Enable Share games over local network in Settings on both computers. On Windows, use a private profile for your trusted network and allow Typhon through the firewall if prompted. Guest Wi-Fi may isolate devices from each other.
Receive the game on the other computer
On the receiver, open Local network. Find the game under Available nearby, check the sender’s computer name and select Download.
Watch Transfers: it shows receiving progress, Received on completion, or an error on failure. After receiving, check the game in Installed, review its folder and launch executable, and try launching it.
What may need separate setup
Transferring a game folder does not guarantee transfer of saves, Windows components, licenses, accounts or a CrossOver environment. These may live elsewhere. Back up the saves you need separately and set up dependencies on the receiving computer.
A transfer between Windows and macOS does not ensure compatibility: a Windows game on Mac still needs CrossOver. Keep the original working copy until you have checked launching on the receiver.
If the other computer does not appear
Check that LAN sharing is enabled on both devices, they share a network, Windows uses a private profile, firewall rules allow Typhon, and router client isolation is off. A VPN can affect local-network access. Do not disable the entire firewall.
If the transfer fails, check free space and destination-folder access, and save the error text. To end sharing, choose Stop sharing under I’m sharing.
