Requirements

  • Windows 10 version 1809 or newer, 64-bit
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime
  • Free space for the games themselves, wherever you install them

Download and run the Typhon installer. Launcher settings and local data are stored in %APPDATA%\Typhon.

Check after downloading: shasum -a 256 typhon-darwin-arm64.zip in Terminal. If the value does not match, the file is corrupt or swapped and should not be unpacked.

The app is not signed

We have no Apple Developer certificate, so on first launch macOS will say the app is damaged or comes from an unidentified developer. Unpack the archive, move Typhon to Applications, and run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Typhon.app in Terminal — after that it opens on a normal double-click. Check the checksum before this, not after.

Requirements on macOS

  • macOS 13 or newer on an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 and later); there is no Intel build
  • CrossOver, which is what runs Windows games. It is a separate paid program and we do not ship it; without it the launcher opens, but no game installs or starts
  • Room for the games themselves, wherever you install them

What you get

A library with covers, downloads, installation and game launching in one app. Get started without an account. Games and sources are not included: you add your own sources.
